In
the course of almost 30 years of designing catamarans I designed
a lot more boats as offered as standard designs. As we where
sailing for 11 years on our Pelican I could not take all plans with me.
I lost some of them or forgot them. In between I design boats for
clients with special needs. Some plans I have recovered. I know we
sailors are a bunch of individualists. Everybody of us dreams of the
ideal boat , which, you can belief me, will never exists. Every boat is
a compromise. But perhaps one of the boats I will show you here, comes
near to what you would fancy. Besides these recovered plans I will introduce here new projects. These will be marked accordingly.
The DUO 900
is an trailerable asymmetrical catamaran. The boatis a fast
coastal cruiser for up to three. Short construction time for a 9 m cat.
Back to the future. This catamaran is as modern today as it was when I designed the boat 1992.
The CORMORAND was designed for a Dutch customer. He wanted a fast
and sea worthy boat but with sufficient space to use the boat also as
an office.
The owner sails now somewhere in the Carribbean.

The SEAGULL
was designed 1990. This voyaging catamaran is 11 m long. By going with
the trapezoid hull cross section to the limit, this is the fastest boat
to build for its size. The boats is a very comfortable passage maker for
5 persons.
