The P 95
is as fast as she looks. Speeds of over 20 kts are easy to reach.
This catamaran is fun to sail, coming about is a-symmetrical cat
fashion. Because of the a-symmetrical hulls, there are no
no boards or keels necessary to go to windward. No yawing in a
following sea.
The multi functional accommodation in the main (beam) cabin is sufficient for 4 people. In the hulls are , besides two bunks, the pantry, the head and the navigation area.
The two big entrance hatches give plenty of ventilation. When closed the whole boat is watertight in any situation. This boat is a sailors dream.
Construction is wood/glass/epoxy. The boat can be build in parts (hulls, center part and aft beam) and joined later. The plans are very extensive with details for example for the short mainsail boom, chain plates, wiring diagram etc.
The boat is relatively easy to build by an amateur. Construction time will be about 1000 hours.
