The ECO is
a perfect first time boat building project. A fast boat to sail
and to build. The medium technology wood/glass epoxy composite
technique is easy to master. The result a light and fast catamaran.
Mast and rigging on modern catamarans are expensive. We found a solution to lower the costs significantly without sacrificing efficiency. The rotating aluminum mast is made from a 80 mm diameter tube. All new mainsail design, with aerodynamically sleeve and still the possibility for standing rigging and shortening of the sail.
More new features. Single chine plywood design, which is easy to build. Vertical rudder automatic. Single dagger board which can be handled from the cockpit.
